Dear Supporters,
I turned in my paperwork to officially file to run for re-election!
As part of this process, I submitted my Candidate Statement, which is my basic message that will be mailed to every voter in early October.
Here is how it begins:
- Four years ago, I successfully ran for the Marin Water Board to use my expertise as a water scientist to ensure a resilient water district that is responsive to residents, fiscally sound, drought-resistant, and strategically minded.
- During my time in office, I led successful efforts to eliminate the district’s operating deficit, develop new water supplies, replace aging infrastructure, expand environmental restoration, and improve wildfire prevention.
- I am running for re-election to build on this progress.
It has been a great honor to serve the public these past four years, and I really look forward to continuing to move Marin Water towards a safer, sustainable, and affordable water future.
At the moment, no one has filed paperwork to run against me, and I certainly wish this holds.
Still, the deadline to run has not yet passed, and just in case I have a last-minute challenger, I want to (hopefully for the last time) ask you to consider giving to my campaign.
